VU+ DUO 4K Lite expands the wide portfolio of the VU+ brand with a modern and powerful receiver. The device supports two plug-in Full Band Capture (FBC) tuners, enabling extremely fast and smooth channel switching. The user has access to flexible slots that can accommodate two FBC tuners (DVB-S2 or DVB-C) or one DVB-T2 dual tuner. Powerful hardware, gigabit network connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and modern interfaces such as USB 3.0 and USB-C ensure readiness for future requirements.

This model allows not only watching television in high 4K resolution but also simultaneous recording of multiple programs. It supports advanced HEVC/H.265 decoding and runs on the Enigma2 Linux platform, which offers extensive customization options. Features such as live TV pause, content streaming within the network, and CI module support for pay TV channels are standard. The elegant design also focuses on energy efficiency. It is a reliable and expandable solution suitable for demanding users and complex home multimedia systems.

Tuners and their capabilities

DVB-S2 FBC dual tuner contains up to eight demodulators. When using two satellite inputs, it works similarly to two standard tuners supplemented by six additional virtual ones. This allows watching, recording, or streaming programs from multiple transponders simultaneously. In Unicable (SCR) mode, it can fully replace up to eight conventional tuners.

DVB-C FBC tuner also features eight demodulators, allowing parallel processing of up to eight cable channels at once.

DVB-T2 dual tuner is equipped with two demodulators and enables simultaneous viewing or recording of two programs.
