Cables using physical foam insulation technology have a nominal impedance of 75 ohms and comply with EN 50117. They are primarily used in cable TV, individual/central satellite distribution and CCTV security camera systems. Due to their polyethylene sheath they are preferred for outdoor and underground installations.
